Your FAQs Answered: Lang Leav’s Sad Girls Book Signing Tour


In just a few days, bestselling author and acclaimed poet Lang Leav will be here in the Philippines! We know you’re excited to meet her and have your copies of Sad Girls signed, but you’ve got some FAQs as well.

Here are some answers!

When and where is this happening?

Lang will be at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu on June 24, and at the Palm Drive Activity Center of Glorietta 2 on June 25.

Do I need to pay to have my books signed?

No! Admission is completely free. Just present your copy of Sad Girls purchased at any NBS, NBS Express, or Powerbooks branch at the registration.

How many people will be accommodated at each venue?

Only the first 500 people in Cebu and first 1,000 people in Glorietta will be accommodated. Registration will start at 10 am for both events, and it’s on a first come, first served basis.

How many books can I have signed?

Only one copy of Sad Girls per person will be signed.

Can I have my other Lang Leav books signed?

No, unfortunately only Sad Girls books will be signed.

Can I have other items like shirts or journals signed?

No, any other items apart from Sad Girls books will not be signed.

I already have a copy of Sad Girls, but I didn’t purchase it from National Book Store. Can I have it signed?

No, only copies purchased from NBS, NBS Express, or Powerbooks will be accommodated.


Can I get my copy of Sad Girls during the event?

Yes, Sad Girls will be available for purchase at both events. You can also get it for P795 (paperback) or order online here.

Can I register for a friend?

Each person in line will only be allowed to register for one slot. Your friend may take your slot after you have registered, but you cannot register for yourself and register for them at the same time.

Will we get to ask her questions?

Yes, there will be a few minutes allotted for the audience Q&A.

Will we be able to take photos with her?

Only our official photographer will be allowed to take photos using your phone or tablet. You may also have your photo taken by our official photographer and see them on our Facebook page. Due to time constraints, no selfies or video greetings will be allowed.
