Put on those aprons and get those stoves fired up! Anvil Publishing and National Book Store present the first ever #NBSCookBookFestival, a mini cookbook and food fair!

  • When: November 27, 2016 | 10 AM – 7 PM
  • Where: National Book Store, Glorietta 1

We have award-winning world class chefs joining us. Here’s the full schedule:

1pm – 2pm: The Recipes I Love, Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Demonstration by Norma Chikiamco

2pm – 3pm: Pan, Palaman at Pares Pares, Palaman on Pan De Sal Demonstration and Talk on Bread Combination by Jenny Orillos and Amy Uy

3pm – 4pm: “Paella Desayuno”, Alba’s Breakfast Paella with Homemade Chorizos Demonstration by Chef Miguel de Alba

4pm – 5pm: Family Baking by Chef Charina Cano of Maya Kitchen

5pm – 6pm: Simple and Easy Home Cooking by Chef Gene Gonzalez

6pm – 7pm: Discover Mama Sita’s Flavors of the Philippine Islands by Chef Pablo Capparos, Chef Andro Faderanga, and Chef Asst. Philip Lim.

It features bestselling cookbooks as well as cooking demonstrations, food styling sessions, and book signings. It will also showcase different types of Filipino cuisine along with top Anvil food authors, their signature dishes, and their restaurants.
