This April 23 is International Book Day, a celebration by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to promote reading, publishing, and copyright. Celebrated annually since 1995, it’s a day to appreciate reading and all of the joys that it brings.
Here in the Philippines, the Instituto Cervantes de Manila is leading the festivities with the Dia del Libro at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, 10 am to 10 pm on April 22, 2017. And of course, NBS will be there too!
Visit our booth and enjoy 20% off books and share your thoughts on the freedom wall. There’s also a #ReadOutLoudChallenge booth where you can shoot your videos and help set up 100 school libraries. Learn more about it here.
You’ll also enjoy a performance and book signing by spoken word artist, Juan Miguel Severo.
