It’s every bookworm’s wish to be able to ask for books and book accessories for free! Let’s admit it: collecting books and accessories can put a dent in our budgets. So it’s not surprising if to see book-and-reading-related stuff on your bookworm friend’s wishlist!
But not all bookworms have their wish lists properly filled out yet and with Christmas only days away, everybody’s rushing to do their Christmas shopping! Better complete your lists out before it’s too late with this bookworm’s ultimate wishlist for 2018. Oh and this list includes books for 2018 that are yet to be released! Go check them out below.
#1 Books to be released in 2018
If you’ve been following soon to be released titles closely, you’ve probably listed down the books that are expected to come out in just a few months’ time! If you haven’t, well, below are some of them written by our favorite authors. Don’t forget to include them in your wishlist!

- The Spring Girls by Anna Todd
- Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi (Shatter Me #4)
- War Storm by Victoria Aveyard (Red Queen #4)
- A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3.5)

#2 Clip-on Book Light
Are you guilty of staying up until the wee hours of the night (or the morning!) wrapped in the sheets and reading to the irritation of your roommate or your parents because of the lights still turned on? We’ve all been there and we can’t do anything about it! Good thing there’s this clip-on book light that has a flexible neck so you can focus to the part you want to read. It is very compact (fits into your bags and pockets) and with 25-hour capacity for use! Soooo useful for night owls and bookworms, right?!
#3 A New E-reader
Some books aren’t available in print and has to be bought as an ebook. Unfortunately, not all of us have the gadgets for these. So a perfect item to include to your wishlist is this Kobo Ebook Aura H20 that’ll address your ebook reading problems! It could read most ebook formats like EPUB, EPUB3, PDF, and MOBI! It also shows you your reading progress in every book so you won’t forget the books you’re currently reading all at once! Try not to hesitate to ask for this in your wishlist!
#4 Label Stickers
It’s not unusual for bookworms to not get their books back when someone borrows them. Then we feel too embarrassed to ask for the books back so we just let it go and accept that we have to part with our baby! That’s so heartbreaking!
Well, to subtly remind your friends that the book isn’t theirs, you might want to put labels on your book with your name and the reminder to give it back in case it got lost. If you don’t want to write on the pages of the book, use label stickers to write your details on and stick it to the book!
We often find ourselves in crisis whenever we are in need of bookmarks, don’t we? We’ll turn the whole house upside down just to look for the bookmarks we bought or was given to us or we personally made only to find out they’re all lost! So we resort to the strangest things to use as bookmarks – receipts, candy or medicine wrappers, bus tickets, and a whole lot more!
So why not use your wish list to ask for LOTS of bookmarks for the whole year to come? These cutie magnetic bookmarks will remind you where your books are and which page you’re on! Make sure to buy more than one just to be sure! (Because really, you’ll never know when clumsiness and messy-ness will strike!)
#6 Book Covers/Jackets
If your books are sorta plain and you wanna spice em’ up a bit, or you want to artistically display them on your shelf, list down these book jackets on your wishlist and cover your books to prevent dust gathering on the cover and the pages.
#7 Arts and Craft Materials for DIY book accessories
Some bookworms are also creatives when it comes to the arts! If you want to customize your own book accessories like bookmarks, bookends, book sleeves/covers, include in your wish list the materials you’ll need so you won’t have to rummage through stores and malls for a single item!
Check out our special section for arts and crafts and DIY online here.
#8 Book-Inspired Collections & Memorabilias
Decide which fandom you want a collection of and put it down on your wishlist! For Harry Potter fans, check this out for several HP stuff that will enchant you with magical feels! If you’re more into Game of Thrones, pick from this and try not to scream fangirl or fanboy style! But if Lord of the Rings captured your heart, this is the perfect place for you to satisfy your fandom cravings!
There are a lot more collectibles for a wide range of fandoms so pay a visit to our site and don’t forget to list specific ones!
#9 Highlighters and Colored Pen/Pencils
There are some memorable lines and words in books we read that just strikes through straight to the heart and we wanna take note of maybe as a reminder or as social media captions for our photos (so millennial, ‘noh?). So to avoid being forgotten, underline or highlight them with colorful highlighters or pens!
